emma aars (1995) is a writer and editor based between glasgow and oslo. her work focuses on the material and visual properties of language, and she writes about art, clothes, scents and photography, in addition to make art books.
her work has been featured in magazines such vestoj, the yellow paper, d2, tableau and a rabbit’s foot. and she has written for galleries such as standard(oslo), centralbanken, boardroom committee room, galleri golsa and bomuldsfabriken kunsthall.
she is 1/3 of ghost press, a publishing house making artist’s books with emerging writers and artists, and 1/2 of forloren skildpadde, a scandinavian journal of literature
